Why not just buy a rubber strip from Bunnings for $20?
If you are looking for a $20 solution, this is not it. This kit is built to last as long as the vehicle. It also has a vehicle-specific steel bracket system which places a rubber pinch-weld bulb seal in the pefect location for a 100% tight seal. If you want to do the job properly, (and only need to do it once!) this kit is the right option. If you are happy with a trip to bunnings every couple of months for a new strip of rubber, then Bunnings is the way to go!
